Nicholas HOFGREN

Advisory Board Director

Nicholas is a Managing Director of GFG Limited, a Guernsey based company where he is focused on securitization of infrastructure assets. Previously, Nicholas was a partner at Tangent Ventures, a business focused on creating value within the Tangent Group of Companies, which generates approximately $2.7B each year through energy related manufacturing and service businesses. In 2008, Nicholas co-founded WHP, a private equity fund raising business with a focus on emerging strategies and emerging markets based in Dubai, London and New York.

Nicholas was also a Chief Investment Officer at Immo Industry Group in 2006 and before that a Managing Director at Brunswick Capital which he joined in 2004. Prior to Brunswick, Nicholas was at JP Morgan Chase from 1999 – 2003. At J.P. Morgan he was responsible for founding and building the team that raised billions of capital for private equity funds. Nicholas sits on the board of Prince Street Capital Management, a leading hedge fund that invests in frontier markets. He is on the development committee of The Prince’s Teaching Institute (PTI), an education charity founded by HRH the Prince of Wales.
