Mambi Madzivire
Mambi Madzivire was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe. She holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Mayo Clinic and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she was a co-President of the Africa Business Club. Dr. Madzivire was a TLG Summer Fellow in 2010, when she performed due diligence on Snapper Hill Clinic in Monrovia, Liberia. She has significant exposure to health care in resource constrained settings.
Prior to joining TLG, she developed an initiative to ensure the sustainability of donated medical equipment in El Salvador, supported by a grant from the Clinton Global Initiative University. Dr. Madzivire has also worked in Bangalore, India as a Summer Associate at Embrace Global, a start up that has developed an affordable warming device for low birth weight infants.
