Sidarth Menon, CFA, India
Sidarth Menon joined TLG Capital in early 2010, and is currently based in India where he overseas and manages TLG Capital’s investments in the region and has primary responsibility for the transmigration of effective business models from India into Africa. Mr. Menon has considerable international experience within the capital markets space. He was instrumental in closing deals across Africa such as Vero Foods in Uganda, as well as guiding the firm’s entry into India with the minority acquisition of Refeel Cartridge Engineering Pvt. Ltd: India's largest ink re-feeling and laptop repair company. Prior to joining TLG Capital, Sidarth was an Investment Manager at Fortis Banque in Dubai. He actively participated in expanding Fortis Banque’s footprint across the Indian subcontinent and Middle East, focusing on emerging market alternates and structures. Sidarth moved to Dubai from Toronto, where he was an Associate at Versant Partners, a sell-side boutique focusing primarily on healthcare and technology companies. He currently sits on a number of the investee companies boards and is an advisor to 130R Capital in Bangalore.
Mr. Menon graduated with a Joint Honours degree in Economics and Finance from McGill University and is a CFA charter holder.
